🔒 Your privacy matters. SeeTHRU never sells your data or uses it for advertising. This page explains exactly what we collect and why.

1. Who We Are

3. Your Photos

When you upload a photo to search:

The photo is processed locally in your browser before being sent
It is transmitted to FaceCheck.ID (our search provider) to perform the facial recognition search
We store a small thumbnail version (400x400px) for your search history and admin compliance review
We do not store the full original photo on our servers
Photos are never used for training AI models or any other purpose

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

FaceCheck.ID — performs facial recognition searches. Your photo is sent to their API. See their privacy policy at facecheck.id
Stripe — processes payments. We never store card details
Supabase — stores account and search data securely
Netlify — hosts our website
Tawk.to — live chat support
TikTok Pixel — advertising analytics (page views and purchase events only)

5. Social Media Publisher

When you use our social media scheduling and publishing tool:

We request OAuth access tokens from TikTok and Instagram on your behalf via their official APIs
These tokens are stored locally in your browser only and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers
We use these tokens solely to publish content you have explicitly scheduled
You can revoke access at any time via your TikTok or Instagram account settings → Apps & Permissions

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal tracking:

Essential cookies for keeping you signed in (Supabase auth)
TikTok Pixel for advertising conversion tracking (can be blocked with an ad blocker)
No third-party advertising cookies or data brokers

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of your data
Deletion — request that we delete your account and all associated data
Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
Portability — request your data in a portable format
Objection — object to processing of your personal data

8. Data Security

We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Our database (Supabase) uses row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe and we never see or store card details.

9. Children's Privacy

SeeTHRU.tech is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used our service, contact us immediately at [email protected].

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
